Eyre Peninsula Cooperative Bulk Handling

Welcome

Eyre Peninsula Cooperative Bulk Handling (EPCBH) was formed in August 2017 to investigate opportunities that will improve competitiveness for growers and farmers on the Eyre Peninsula.

  • Our board consists of farm business owners from across Eyre Peninsula.
  • Our board of directors are committed to finding opportunities that will provide choice to Eyre Peninsula Growers in the areas of transport, storage, handling and exporting of grain.
  • Working collaboratively with parties to achieve this important objective.

EPCBH represents farmers from all regions across the Eyre Peninsula.

  • Partnering with Adelaide-based resources company, Iron Road Limited, developer of the Central Eyre Iron Project (CEIP).
  • Working together to establish a storage handling and export facility at Iron Road's proposed deep-sea port at Cape Hardy.

Regional Development Australia Eyre Peninsula (RDAEP) supports the formation of the cooperative and recognises that it is a grass roots response to an industry-wide challenge.

  • Competition.
  • Work to improve export outcomes for growers.
  • Inspire competitive grain supply chains for South Australian regional areas.
  • Support the development of a grain port on the Eyre Peninsula.
