At our February Annual General Meeting we signed an MoU between EPCBH and Peat Soils & Garden Supplies.

Peats Group is a second generation wholly South Australian company focused on receiving, processing and engineering recyclable organic resources. Peats is an industry leader striving for innovation which transforms organic material into useable products for the benefit of farms, the community and the environment.

The Peats Group vision for its alliance with EPCBH at the EP Ag Diversity Precinct, is to:

• develop a composting operation making feedstock for the manufacture of their UnEarth product for storage and distribution to Eyre Peninsula farmers
• provide EP councils with a commercially viable option to divert their green organics and food waste, which currently goes to landfill
• work together to incorporate green ammonia, generated by H2U’s Hydrogen production, into Peats’ engineered compost-based granule, ‘UnEarth by Peats’, for use in agriculture

EPCBH looks forward to working with Peats surrounding green waste composting, the production of low emissions fertiliser and meeting world demand for lower emissions food production.
